Republic of Ireland v England
This Sunday.

Having a lock in on Sunday morning in my mates bar. Then into the aviva to smash up a few Brits.

Any of you boys coming over?

Once again the casual anti-Irish racism on this board rears it's ugly spastic head again.

But craic on.

You tick fucks.

Colly, no "Brits" on a stick, mate?

Did you belt out a few "Up the 'RAs"?

No Brits on a stick either. Always had you down as mouth and no trousers.

International football has been shit ever since the money arrived in the game, as most players are more bothered now earning money at their clubs than for playing for England.

Why I rarely give a shit nowadays about the tournaments and don't really care when we're out, as I have nothing in common with the prima dona's.

I don't even particularly like Rugby, but much rather watch England play that nowadays, as at least they have pride in the shirt.

It's not that easy when you are pretty much the only country in the world competing in all the global sporting events.

Admittedly we should do better, seeing as we invented pretty much every sport, but the 'infrastructure' is something that has only been sorted in recent years, we'll see the fruits soon enough.

We have some fantastic young players in midfield and up top but IMO, but weak at the back, no longer have anyone of the calibre of Terry, Rio, Cole, Neville, etc.

Call them England B all you like. They have more pride and passion than the over hyped English players. That why with second rate players they haven't lost to England in 30 years. At least there was no trouble

for the population and infrastructure England have, they are shit.

We are not shit, it was a friendly, England are much better than England B & Scotland United, as they're proving in qualifying, they're just not top level when it comes to tournaments.

England internationally are fucking shit.

We're winning our group because we're grouped with lots of shit sides and our only real test is the Swiss.

I'm not interested in reform because the FA and proceeding managers wheel out the same old rubbish. Woy has to be the most uninspiring, boring old git to manage England.

Fucking hell, I didn’t even realise England were playing until I saw this thread, just read the match report on ESPN, sounds as if its just as well I didn’t watch it as would have sent me to sleep.

Paul Scholes summed it up quite well.

"There was a real lack of quality and a waste of an afternoon.''

Has there ever been an entertaining skilful England v Republic of Ireland match? I don't think it is actually physically possible
Any further scheduled matches should be declared as 0-0 draws without being played.
It would be for the best

Fucking hell it was just a friendly game after a long season which was designed as warm up's for the Euro games next week.

It was a nil nil bore and England did not play well but who cares. We will be at the Euro's next summer and we can play better.

I suppose we are all going to kneejerk on here in July if we draw nil nil at Colchester in a FRIENDLY.

It was more important that the England fans behaved and they did.
